Heparin Lawsuit

In re: Heparin Product Liability Litigation MDL Docket No. 1953On June 17, 2008, Judge Carr appointed mass tort attorney David W. Zoll as Liaison Counsel in the Heparin MDL in addition to appointing him to the Plaintiffs’ Leadership Committees on July 7, 2008.

In this MDL, our attorney also acted as a member of the Plaintiff’s Executive Committee.

The Court held a Case Management Conference on July 9, 2008.

The agenda of this conference included a significant amount of organizational, initial case management and discovery issues.

The Court issued two pretrial orders sometime after this conference, with one addressing the preservation of evidence and the other setting forth the appropriate methods of service on the parties.
