Have you suffered injuries due to Actos use? It should be noted that in 2011, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that the use of Actos for more than one year could be associated with an increased risk of bladder cancer.
Our attorneys are currently involved in ongoing Actos litigation. Interestingly, in October, Actos manufacturer Takeda Pharmaceutical Company was ordered by a jury to pay more than $2 million to a woman who claimed Actos caused her bladder cancer.
According to Bloomberg, jurors in Philadelphia concluded that Takeda failed to properly warn Frances Wisniewski’s doctors about Actos’s cancer risks. Wisniewski’s was the seventh Actos case sent to trial in the U.S., following a large verdict in Louisiana against Takeda over allegations that the company hid the diabetes drug’s risks.
Currently, more than 3,500 Actos lawsuits have been consolidated before a judge in Lafayette, Louisiana. Additionally, another 4,500 cases are pending in state courts in Illinois, West Virginia, California and Pennsylvania, according to Bloomberg.

We fight for our clients and hold negligent pharmaceutical companies liable for injuries sustained by victims.
